Dead Days - Monday, August 28th, 2006

It's your friendly (when I'm good and sober) neighborhood cartoonist John Rios here, bringing you another one of these "funny strips" or whatever they call them. And while this site might not exactly be your Daily Bugle, it'll have to do for now. It's an interesting world, these webcomics. I mean, besides my old college paper (where DEAD DAYS still runs, by the way) and my books, DEAD DAYS basically exsists only as information on the web. Just strings of 1's and 0's, yet if I went to, say, AUSTRIA, there's a fair possiblity that somone would say, "You're ZHAT John Rios? I read DEAD DAYS all ze time, yah!" That's not racist is it? That IS how you Austrians speak english isn't it? International noteriety because I post information in the form of silly cartoons on a server. Wild stuff.
And BOY is it a RUSH! Specially when I post a winner like THIS baby! Breaking the 4th wall? I think we can all agree that this whole "Her Way" series bashed the 4th wall to bits from the first strip. It's getting almost surreal now. And that's the way I LIKES IT! Acutally, judging by past strips, DEAD DAYS has more like a "removable" 4th wall. It can be removed and replaced at will. Often many times in a series. Hell, sometimes in one strip! Again, wild stuff.
Anyhoo, enjoy the crazyness that is this installment of the "Her Way" series. I'll be back (hopefully sooner than this time) with part 9! Only a few more parts left in the series so SOAK IT UP LADIES! Thanks a bunch for reading! I'll see ya soon!
