Hey kids!

What kinda college-themed comic strip would I have if I didn't touch on the subject of musical elitists every once in a while? A really shitty one, I'd say. Thus, to maintain my rep, I present you with a strip 'bout indie bands and the people who love to hate them.
Man, indie bands must HATE their listeners! They love you when you're hated and they hate you when you're loved! And indie band fan wants nothing more than the total and utter failure of the band they love, so that they could stay indie and be the only ones who love them.
In a way, this makes sense. With the exception of a few great indie bands, fame really can ruin a band. A famous band can't relate the same way a unpopular band can. The fame goes to their heads and all of a sudden, they're writing songs about their fame (which no normal person can relate to), or writing songs to please their new fancy label that are musically accessible (read: crappy & uninspired) and "radio friendly" (the kiss of death for any indie band).
So personally, I kinda agree with Brownie. The Sonic Buttcheeks DID used to be cool. You know, before Blondie heard of them.
So thanks for reading everyone! Who knows, maybe I'll start a new series next week! But you're gonna have to cut me some slack in these next few weeks. I'm going to be out of state twice this month, so I'll work on DEAD DAYS whenever I get the chance and keep it as regular as possible! Later!
